Join us at the Fremont District Community Library, November 15th for a fun scholastic tournament. This will be an open-style event for all students K-12. There will be 1st-4th place awarded at the event. Trophies and medals. Check out the schedule and details below.

Schedule: 5 Rounds – 10:00, 10:45, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30
All games will be run according to national USCF rules, but it will not be USCF-rated. The only exceptions are that we will not be using clocks at the beginning of the game nor requiring notation.
Notes:
*All players will get five games due to it not being elimination style. The only time a player will not get five games is if there are an odd number of players and a bye is given.
*Parents can observe but must watch from the sides of the room. If a parent interferes in a game that parent will be asked to leave the room until the games are completed.
*Tiebreaks will be based upon tournament tiebreak software with the tiebreak winner getting the trophy.
*The games will not use a clock but if they start to run long a clock with 10-minutes per side will be placed on them. This will ensure timely finishes to the games.
